Quick Start Guide

Go from zero to your first live Facebook Marketplace listing in 10 minutes.

What You'll Do

  1. Install MP Poster (already done? skip to step 2)
  2. Connect one Facebook account
  3. Import a sample vehicle
  4. Post it to Marketplace

Step 1 — Launch MP Poster

Double-click the desktop icon or find it in Start Menu. The app window opens — you'll see a dark dashboard with sidebar nav: Dashboard, Accounts, Inventory, Post to FB, Job Queue, Settings.

Step 2 — Add Your Facebook Account

  1. Click Accounts in the sidebar.
  2. Click + Add Account.
  3. Enter a label (e.g. "Main Account"), your FB email, and (optionally) location.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click the new account's Login button — a browser window opens.
  6. Sign in to Facebook normally. Handle 2FA if prompted.
  7. Once at your Facebook homepage, the window auto-closes. Account status turns green.
Session is saved on your machine only MP Poster never sends your Facebook credentials anywhere. The browser cookie is stored locally in your install folder.

Step 3 — Add a Test Vehicle

  1. Click Inventory in the sidebar.
  2. Click + Add Vehicle.
  3. Fill in: Year, Make, Model, Price, Mileage. Description is optional.
  4. Upload 1–10 photos. Drag & drop or click to select.
  5. Click Save.

Step 4 — Post It

  1. Click Post to FB.
  2. Step 1 — pick the vehicle you just added.
  3. Step 2 — pick the account you logged in to.
  4. Step 3 — review. Select "Post now" timing.
  5. Click Post 1 Listing.

MP Poster opens a browser, fills the form, uploads photos, and publishes. Takes ~60 seconds. Watch live or minimize and check Job Queue when done.

Step 5 — Verify

In Job Queue, you'll see the job status: Queued → Running → Done. When done, click View Listing ↗ to open the live post on Facebook.
