Adding Facebook Accounts
Each plan supports a different number of accounts. Sessions stored locally on your PC — credentials never leave your machine.
Plan Limits
- Free Trial / Starter: 1 account
- Pro: 3 accounts
- Agency: 10 accounts
Adding an Account
- Click Accounts in the sidebar.
- Click + Add Account.
- Fill in:
- Name — internal label (e.g. "Main Account", "Sales Team")
- Email — your Facebook login email (just for reference)
- Password — optional, MP Poster doesn't use it for automation
- Location — default city/region for listings (e.g. "Miami, FL")
- Click Save.
Logging In
After adding an account, you need to log in once. MP Poster opens a real Chromium browser window for you to sign in normally.
- In the Accounts list, find the account → click Login.
- A browser window opens to
facebook.com/login. - Enter your password.
- Handle 2FA if you have it enabled (SMS code, authenticator, etc.).
- Once you're at Facebook's homepage, the browser auto-closes.
- Account status turns Active with a green dot.
Session persistence
Browser cookies are saved to
%APPDATA%\MP Poster\sessions\. You only have to log in once per account. MP Poster uses this saved session for every post.
Multiple Accounts
Pro and Agency plans let you rotate posts across multiple accounts. Each gets its own isolated browser profile — no cross-contamination.
Why Multiple Accounts?
- Higher daily volume — Facebook caps each account at ~10 listings/day. 3 accounts = 30+ listings/day.
- Risk distribution — if one account gets flagged, others keep working.
- Different markets — each account can target a different city/state.
Account Health Status
Every account has a health indicator:
- 🟢 Healthy — posting normally, no issues
- 🟡 Warning — 3+ consecutive failures, may be FB-flagged
- 🔴 Blocked — checkpoint detected, posting paused
- ⚪ Paused — manually paused by you
If blocked, log in to Facebook manually in your normal browser, clear the checkpoint (verify identity, etc.), then click Reset Health in MP Poster.
Account Safety Settings (Pro/Agency)
Click any account → Safety Settings to adjust:
- Max posts per day — soft cap (default: 5)
- Warmup schedule — new accounts post fewer first week
- Stagger delay — 2–8 minutes between posts
Removing an Account
Click account → ⋯ menu → Delete. Removes session, cookies, and config. Doesn't delete the actual Facebook account (obviously).
