How licenses work, how to manage your subscription, and our refund policy.
How Licenses Work
- One key per Windows PC. Each license is bound to one machine.
- Email delivery. Key arrives within 30 seconds of payment.
- Server-validated. The app phones home every 24 hours to confirm your subscription is active.
- Offline grace period. 24 hours offline cache — internet outages won't lock you out instantly.
Managing Your Subscription
Sign in at your account page. You'll be redirected to Stripe's Customer Portal where you can:
- View current plan and price
- Update payment method
- Download invoices
- Cancel subscription
- See past payments
Moving to a New Computer
Your license is locked to one machine. To move:
- Email support@mpposter.com from the email on file.
- Subject: "Reset license — moving to new PC"
- We reset the binding within 4 business hours (often within 30 min during business hours).
- Install MP Poster on the new PC, enter your existing key — it activates fresh.
Lost Your License Email?
Sign in at your account page using the email you used at purchase → click Resend License Email. Arrives within 60 seconds.
Upgrading or Downgrading Plans
In Stripe Customer Portal → Update Plan. Changes prorate automatically:
- Upgrade (Starter → Pro): charged the prorated difference today.
- Downgrade (Pro → Starter): takes effect at next billing cycle.
Your existing license key continues to work — features unlock/lock based on plan automatically.
Cancellation
Cancel in Stripe Customer Portal — one click. No cancellation fee. Your license stays active until the end of the current billing period, then deactivates.
Refund Policy
30-day money-back guarantee. If MP Poster doesn't save you time in your first 30 days, email support for a full refund. No questions asked.
After 30 days, refunds are case-by-case. We don't refund for accounts banned by Facebook (we can't control their policy) or service interruptions caused by Facebook UI changes (we usually fix within 24–48 hrs).
Failed Payments
If your card declines, Stripe retries automatically for 7 days. We send email notifications. After 7 days of failed retries, the license is disabled until payment succeeds.
Update payment in your account immediately to avoid downtime.
Annual Plans
All plans default to monthly billing. Want annual (with 2 months free)? Email sales.
Team / Multi-User Accounts
Currently, each license = one machine. For team setups (3+ machines), email sales for custom pricing.
